Established more than 110 years ago, this estate is a haven of peace for wildlife and lovers of unspoiled nature alike. A n experience you owe yourself!
Located in Haute-Mauricie, this former private club is truly secluded, being only accessible by boat. Dating all the way back to 1896, the buildings have retained all their former glory. With warm wood trim, stately chimneys and stunning antiques, it yet also offers modern amenities that provide the best in comfort without sacrificing any of the hotel’s charm. Bought back from American owners 25 years ago, the outfitting operation has since been run by three generations of Tremblay-Bernards who have made it their goal to create a true heaven on earth with the most outstanding service. Activities at the Seigneurie du Triton include fishing and hunting (small game and bear) in season. Hiking trips give guests an opportunity to discover the magnificent property, which qualifies as a protected area, as well as to observe bear, moose and beaver in their natural habitats. Village Innusit, recently attached to the estate, offers an immersion in Aboriginal culture with lodging in teepees. A truly authentic experience!
