Only an hour’s drive from Montreal, Amishk Aboriginal Adventures provides a complete and authentic immersive experience. Your host? The Laurentian forest itself welcomes you to a cosy village of tepees and prospector tents nestled along the shore of a lake in the Montcalm Regional Park. The Amishk site spans 13 km2 of nature bustling with life. Your guides? Friendly folk from the Ilnu, Atikamekw, Cree or Anishinabe nations will share their age-old ancestral knowledge with you and introduce you to aspects of Indigenous culture such as traditional crafts and cooking. Hiking, canoe, fishing, learning about fauna and flora–outdoor adventures abound at Amishk to let you reconnect to yourself and to nature.
