Producer of northern walnuts and hazelnuts, Au Jardin des Noix offers new flavors to taste. Established in 2007, the 35-acre nut orchard was set up with the goal of growing northern nuts in Quebec in a manner that is both sustainable and efficient. A wide variety of walnut, hazelnut, hickory, oak, and chestnut trees have been tested and are now beginning to yield. Black walnut and hazelnut are the main varieties.
This is the ideal place to discover nuts, mushrooms, and other wild edible products of Quebec. Through guided tours and workshops on picking and preparing wild edibles, everyone can learn more about the unsuspected riches of Quebec’s soil. A perfect place to discover unique and delicious products!
