A visit to Boréalis in Trois-Rivières will teach you everything you need to know about the history of the pulp and paper industry. This museum, located in a former water filtration plant, tells the whole saga and its many twists through a permanent exhibition that pays tribute to the characters of a not-so-distant past, including lumberjacks and log drivers. The underground vaults of this unique site constitute one of the highlights of the visit, as well as the terrace, with its stunning view of the Saint Lawrence River.
