Only an hour and a half’s drive from Montreal, Pavillon Basilières Outfitter offers total peace of mind to focus on its speciality —trout fishing. Whether it’s brook trout, rainbow trout, brown trout or splake that tickles your fancy, you can fish them out during a day trip or stay-over. If it’s the latter, you can choose from 12 lodges spread across the outfitter’s area. These lodges have a varying capacity of 2 to 19 persons and three of them come with their own individual lakes. You are responsible for your drinking water, food and bedding, the rest being provided by the outfitter (e.g., fishing licence; fishing boat & oars). Kayaks for lake exploration or electric motors for your fishing boat can be rented onsite. In wintertime, two lodges remain open for those who wish for a snowy retreat on the shore of lac Bernard (with the possibility of ice fishing).
