And there’s no need to carry your canoe or hike through the woods to reach this paradise: outfitters couldn’t be easier to get to. back in the mauricie, the road up to haut-saint-maurice is simply heavenly. follow Rivière Saint-Maurice for scenic views the whole way. And remember that some outfitters can also be reached by train. plus, there’s no need to bring the kitchen sink with you—gear, bedding, flies and bait are all available onsite.
