Classified an historic monument, the Old Prison of Trois-Rivières is a key attraction that won’t fail to stir emotion. Part of the Musée québécois de culture populaire, this site, which opened in 1822 and was designed to accommodate 40 inmates, sheds light on prison life and conditions, especially through a 75-minute experiential visit. Visitors can also become participants by becoming a juror.
