Plunge into nature at the Parc des chutes

Very close to La Tuque, the Parc des Chutes-de-la-Petite-Rivière-Bostonnais is worth a stop. Apart from admiring the 35-meter waterfall, you can enjoy a variety of outdoor experiences: a 21-meter-high observation tower, walking trails with interpretive information panels about the forest and even taxidermied animals (one of which is a full-size moose!) for you to discover at the nature interpretation centre. You’ll find all this at the southern entrance to the city, and admission is free of charge.
